Instructions For Paying Your Taxes Online

1) You can pay your taxes on line by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. This link will guide you through "Searching the Tax Roll" to identify your particular account/parcel. . If you have questions, please contact us at (352) 374-5236.

2) You may also print a paid receipt by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. You must search the roll for your particular account/parcel. Once your parcel is identified you may print a copy of the bill. If your account is paid a receipt number and date will appear on the bottom portion of the bill. The various ways to search for your parcel or account are listed below. If you have questions, please contact us at (352) 374-5236.

THREE WAYS TO "SEARCH" FOR YOUR TAX BILL ON LINE

1. Account Number- this can be located at the top left hand corner of your bill, (the yellow highlighted area). Once you have entered your account number click, "go" at the bottom of the screen. Your current tax bill will appear, to pay your bill select the "Click Here to Pay Your Taxes Now" button located at the bottom of the page. This will take you to the credit card information. Upon completing your transaction, you will be given a conformation number.

2. Owner Name- when searching by name, the spelling must match the name as recorded on the Property Appraiser's database for that particular parcel or account. You may search last name and first initial if you are not certain of how the parcel is recorded. Once you have located your account from the list provided. Click the account number to select it and the current tax bill will appear. From this point you may view, print or pay your tax bill.

3. Mailing Address- when searching via the mailing address you will need the street number, street name and direction. Please note you are searching the mailing address which may not match the physical location of the parcel. Once you have located your parcel from the list provided, click the account number to select. The current tax bill will appear. From this point you may view, print or pay your tax bill. Please note: The "address search" is strictly limited to Alachua County mailing addresses. P.O. Boxes are not searchable. Note: To search by parcel address you must utilize the Property Appraiser's web site. Once the parcel number is identified you may utilize that number to access the tax bill within our web site.

    Make checks payable to 'Von Fraser, Tax Collector', and mail to:
    P.O. Box 142530 - Gainesville, FL 32614-2530.
    After the payment is processed, you may obtain a paid receipt by clicking on link below.

    Remit payment at any location with cash, check, or money order. Please note: Due to credit card company regulations, NO CREDIT CARDS CAN BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE. Credit cards are accepted ONLY on the internet or phone. 
     
  • By Phone
    Call toll-free 24 hours 1-866-PAY-ACTC (1-866-729-2282) to pay with American Express, Discover, or MasterCard only. (Please note that the electronic processing companies charge a 2.5% convenience fee. No portion of this fee is retained by the Tax Collector's office.) 
     

On-Line
You can pay your taxes on line with an approved credit card. We accept American Express, Discover, and MasterCard only.
